I'm doing a Druid and not looking at build guides, just doing what seems fun. I use Storm Strike and the Werewolf core ability with various synergies that cause them to build off of each other. I'm only around level 25 but it's a lot of fun so far.
Reddit is Fun for around 10 years, Bacon Reader for around 2 years before that. I have quit Reddit since last week and don't intend to ever go again outside of the random Google search result.
I finished the demo this morning and pre-order the game. It's light, fun, easy combat similar to Nier Automata or Kingdom Hearts mixed with a good story and voice acting and beautiful visuals. It is definitely very different than previous Final Fantasy games, though.
In every Souls game, a quality build is a great first playthrough build. With Quality, you prioritize STR and DEX more or less equally until you find a weapon that suits you and then stop leveling up the stat you don't need. Other points can go to health and stamina.
Alternatively, the Sellsword class starts with one of the best weapons in the game, the Sellsword Twinblades. They particularly pair well with a DEX build.
I 100% agree with your colleague, though I don't agree with his purity test. You're allowed to feel the way you do about medicine and still use whatever products you want. But, yeah, I don't own or use and Apple products, though I would like to own and restore an Apple IIe.
This is great news, thanks. I played the game originally on Stadia (actually made $40 profit) and intended to replay it anyway, but this sounds even better.
Rocket League, Diablo 4, and Minecraft are all games I've played cross play and have never felt compelled to spend a dime after the initial purchase.
