  • Come to think of it, I haven’t received any in a while either. I am all set up and it used to work but hasn’t in a while.

  • Same! I thought I was losing my mind.

  • What’s all the hate for UG about? I’ve been using it for years, as a casual guitar player, to get tabs of songs I want to learn. Happy to pay $15 year for the service. I know they annoy you constantly to get premium if you are a free user but for the price, I don’t know of a better service for tabs.

  • Came here to say this. When I select sort by new for example, it only shows my post.

Otherwise, I love the layout of this version. Great job!

Every generation has some product/ingredient that they didn’t know was dangerous at the time: tobacco, lead, asbestos, etc. What is that item for this generation?

  • Is this going to be a TestFlight update first or both TestFlight and App Store? Thanks for the great work on this!

  • Thankfully I don’t see too much of that. I actually find a general lack of consideration. People talking on speakerphone, on a quiet bus commuting home from the city. No one wants to hear your conversation. I don’t get the mentality.

  • I’m a guy and I’ve experienced the same thing. I don’t get it at all. Aren’t you at all embarrassed to be conversing on the phone while dropping bombs?! And no one else sitting in a stall wants to hear your conversation! Just scroll Lemmy and leave us alone!

  • I think I’m still having issues. I’ve had to sign into the app twice since 6am to fix it. Hopefully this is fixed soon. Hasn’t been consistently working right since the hack.

  • Maybe both?! And I’m okay with it.

  • Yes!

  • This is the plot twist Lemmy needed! Following for the entertainment.

  • Same for me. I know the dev is on it.

For those in Test Flight, who is hanging onto the beta versus moving to the App Store version?

  • Agreed. It’s great. Wondering when the time is right to get off Test Flight and into the App Store version.

Memmy developers were able to build a better app in a month than Reddit’s team was able to build in ten years

  • First, thanks for your work on this app. It’s great. Obviously it’s none of our business if you choose not to monetize this app in some way. Long term though, wouldn’t it make sense to charge at least a small amount to cover your development and have money to, you know, live? People will line up to pay for a good, well developed app - just like they did with Apollo.

  • Happy to support the developer. Just hoping for a lifetime Apollo ultra equivalent onetime payment. The subscriptions are killer but I get why we need them sometimes.

  • Beat me to it. Just not sure which one I should stick with for now, TestFlight or App Store but great news either way!

  • As someone who was always OCD about how I treated my cds, this hits home.

  • Very happy with the app too. Whenever there is something it’s missing or a bug, I have to remind myself the app is literally in its infancy. Imagine what it will be like a month from now…

  • I use white lithium grease (spray bottle with thin straw) in the hinges. Maybe you can find a way into the inside with the straw. WD-40 and similar oils are too thin for a hinge long-term.
