  • I doubt they'll drop them with the Switch 2, but it's an inevitablity that it will happen in the future. Physical game sales are becoming pitifully low.

  • Seeing as digital-only seems to be the future whether we like it or not, this seems like a good initiative.

  • Not a real story because it didn't end with "...and then everyone clapped".

  • I think it is clear to anyone in the UK. The disabled community is now under attack.

Well at least you're not hysterical.

Disabled people will now no longer be constantly reassessed for benefits, so that's a good thing. The rest of the changes are for those who take the piss.

Though we should really be going after the triple-lock as well to save even more off the welfare bill.

  • Brave New World is definitely the more prescient of the two.

1984 has elements to it that have come true, but the overall theme of BNW of oversaturation of entertainment is definitely accurate to reality nowadays.

  • Out June 26th, with pre-orders starting from March 17th.

Sooner than I expected it to be out!

  • Wait until he finds out we can do fuck all about Israel-Palestine and he's just wasted his time climbing a tower for nothing.

  • Deporting people who come here and commit crimes is a normal thing to do though?

  • Physical media has been dying for years. If you look at the sales statistics between physical and digital, it makes for grim reading if you care about physical media.

75% of game sales in Europe in 2024 were digital. In 2022, 90% of game sales in the UK were digital. It's a similar story pretty much everywhere. And whilst there's a lot of noise on the internet about how bad a digital-only future would be, the average consumer doesn't care.

  • Yes, extra security for your personal information is so irritating.

  • Trade unions stuck in the past shocker.

  • Representing Hamas, a terrorist organisation.

  • Yeah, that's what they do on a news report.

There's no documentaries claiming to give an unbiased viewpoint from an ordinary Israeli though.

  • It has been taken down because the kid involved is the son of a Hamas official, so there's questions surrounding the authenticity and accuracy of the reporting. He's not an ordinary Palestinian.

  • People really are desperate to start World War Three, aren't they?

  • It's Lemmy. Anyone who is involved in owning a business is automatically the Devil and can't possibly be a good person and do good things.

  • So people can get seen quicker? How awful.

  • Yeah, because business really loves Labour at the moment...
