  • At least Hobbes is safe there, as most probably nobody would dare to break in precisely at that night to rob the place. 😁

  • “The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump’s murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He has his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down all while being pepper sprayed,” the statement said.

“Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you.”

    R.I.P.

  • And because it's Tim Waltz, you shouldn't be afraid of the National Guard — since they, most probably, just try to prevent even more harm, done by the ICE, whilst it's the MAGAs ICE that did all the murdering in the first place and they are Trumps, Vances, Thieles, Musks, Bannons, Hitlers troops and their troops alone!

  • Some people are downright evil. 🙁

  • "… as long as it's not the MAGAs".

For, or so I hope, obvious reasons.

  • So the very same people, who were fighting year long wars against trans and queer people for being sexually interested in their kids (which they weren't) are going now openly down that very path themselves, that they've "fought" for so long, not giving a fuck about their children's safety any longer?

I … wonder why this doesn't surprise me in the slightest!°

    __

(Nah, I don't **really** wonder at all, to be honest, as this is precisely what I've feared for quite a while now. 🙁)

  • […] Only human-caused nuclear reactions create them

… on earth? I assume that larger objects may create them as well, only that they don't last long enough in low gravity environments, to have reached us on that way?

**(I'm no scientist though, and thus the question mark above isn't a rhetorical one.)**

  • Damn, that one took way too many seconds for me to get to it! 🥹

  • But …

    • I did!
    • really!

    I wouldn't lie on this!?

    Another ADHD iceberg

  • you wouldnt be considering these other people let alone reaching out on here if you were a psychopath

And yourqualification for this diagnosis is what precisely? Don't get me wrong: I'm not claiming that that Rainmaker here either is or is not a psychopath. Yet your so doubtless assurance, that they cannot, by any chance, be a psychopath because they're considering other people, etc. … leaves me as uncomfortable as if they (hypothetically) insists on having a specific condition they know they lack though (again Rainmaker: this is hypothetically, saying that those both options would let me feel similarly uncomfortable!).

This doubtless surety about what makes somebody no psychopath per se is that I learned of a professional who studied psychopath (their brain structure precisely, as this brain structure varied in a special way by convicted criminals with a psychopathic personality (respectively a antisocial personality disorder). So of that man, a psychiatrist himself, if I remember right, should be qualified to diagnose a psychopath if he sees one, right?

Well, to have brain-scans from "normal people" he scanned the brains of his family, his colleagues and … himself. They were meant to be used like a control group to compare the scans of psychopaths with. And now have a guess (if you don't already know that story). On scan of the control group showed a brain with a very high score in psychopathy typical traits. And it was that very psychiatrist very own brain. Funny, innit! That psychiatrist is now a diagnosed psychopath who, by luck, grew up in a kind family, so that he didn't developed an antisocial personality disorder or criminal behaviour, though he lacked some kind of empathy, yet compensated it otherwise to function in society.

And: If that psychiatrist happened to not see his own psychopathy, whist studying on that very topic … how can you then, via the world wide web, diagnose a stranger you probably have never met in RL, that surely because of a handful of posts here?

Again! I neither say that rainmaker is, or is not a psychopath. Yet … you too shouldn't do that so light heartedly as happened right here — whatever the truth about rainmaker is or is not *think*.

  • Thought for a moment you wanted to present that statement to us. 😳 (Sorry that you have to go through that.)

  • Off-topic, but … why the heck do they need my name, company and e-mail-address (or an additional though optional phone number) to let me download the full index as a PDF? 🤨

  • Well … who should know better, if not AI itself? /s

  • 🫶

  • I believe it to be a trait, like the sexual orientation, that is preset. It might, due to past experiences, vary a bit, but … I doubt that it can be changed entirely.

But, as I said, that's not more than just a belief of mine.

  • Still highly imperfect for me …regarding all my other comorbidities. 🤷

  • [ …] instead of bullying the rest of the Internet into eyesight-damaging practices.

I'd prefer to avoid bulling others in any case and regardless of the benefits or harms of this or that. Meaning that the missing beginning of the above quoted stance, "Fix your lighting", sounds as bullying to me , as those penetrant insistencies of said dark mode fetishists you seemed to be troubled about (too).

(I use both modes, by the way, depending on my current mood, and — in neither case — do I ever insist, that others have to act likewise.)

That said … I would have appreciate your post, if you hadn't precisely done yourself, what I so disliked from too many of those, about whom you just complained.

  • Ah in that case … I'm not really good at maths but … why don't you go on and correct the wikipedi article, and the one in the Guinnes book … so that people like me, i. e. not that good as maths, won't be fooled anymore by those articles?

  • That is not some redditor but one person, who impressed the Guinness book of world record staff. And before you go on, that they too don't impress you … I neither bother if that person had such an IQ or not, nor do I bother by you being impressed or not.
