  • This is why I'm a hardcore secularist. In no way shape or form should religion have any presence in government. It's bad enough how some people treat/use religion in their personal lives. It's actually insane how many sunnis will try to play the victim and invent "crimes" that shias committed. All of the terror organizations are sunnis, all of the Gulf monarchies are sunni, all of the most socially regressive people I know are sunni. It's actually infuriating, and it makes almost perfect sense why they would rather attack the imagined shia instead of standing with their fellow sunni Palestinian against the entity. They just hate shia for not following the exact hadiths they follow.

I can respect everyone's faith- and I believe you shouldn't attack people for having one- but I can't support it having any relevance in government beyond protecting people's right to practice (with limitations.)

  • Every society needs to regulate religion to a degree. You don't have to do head scarf or yarmulkes bans, but you should probably monitor the stuff people preach about

  • "troubling"

  • Reddit ass reply, go back there.

  • We'll see how long that unification lasts. It didn't take long after Oct 7th for the division to come back worse than it ever was.

  • I get it, I don't believe anyone here is giving more thought to rich people than to others.

But if I can be so honest with you: these people probably don't care about you, so why on earth should you care about them? So they're at the receiving end of either unsavory or outright hateful rhetoric. Beyond calling out the use of hateful rhetoric, why should anyone go the extra mile and show them sympathy?

My personal opinion: ignore them like they ignore you

  • They could be very empathic to people in their social circle, while justifying their behavior as defending what they have, or be heavily insulated from the damage of what they do because of the layers of indirection involved in capitalism.

These people don't need to be humanized. They already have so much, too much actually, and will almost always act the way everyone expects them to act when reparations and transfer of means occurs. They will lash out, they will become violent, and they will hate you and every one else that isn't within their immediate circle. There are so many people that exist inside and outside your country that are barely given a thought. The homeless begging for simple acknowledgment and being denied even that, the unnamed masses (the statistics!) that die every day in the periphery of the empire to preventable illnesses and starvation. The victims of wars that were the lab mice for the brutality that has finally begun to reach the empire's doorstep.

So many more people deserve that sympathy that you're giving to people that will treat exactly the way Marx outlined.

Add: ygpk is using hateful language and is using the talking points of eugenics in his posts. Everyone itt calling him out on his hateful behavior is correct. I only made my comment because I just don't feel the need to direct sympathy towards the rich.

  • I think this is a useful heuristic for everyone to have:

If a political party in the west starts talking about or signaling willingness to reject USian friendly policy (like removing bases, doing business in other currencies, having a payment system that bypasses the us system, breaking sanctions) you should ignore them because they're lying.

AfD of all parties saying this should clue people that it's total bullshit. They'll sooner start deporting turks, arabs, Jews, Africans, roma, etc from Germany while building us bases and directing missiles at Russia before they ever try "relocating" Germany's politics.

Major western political parties are either:

    Nazis

    Or

    Moderate nazis

    No in between

  • I know why it's happening and why, but I still think it's a good thing that Americans in general are abandoning AIPAC. However the break happens doesn't really matter unfortunately. This is going to hurt Americans in the long run, especially since the maga crowd is trending towards Christian nationalism. However in all fairness, it should surprise no one that the US will continue to become more fascist as time progresses. The American left failed to mobilize and this means the fascist future is inevitable.

Might as well welcome any change that would reduce the suffering of the global south.

And Americans finally dropping the entity will undoubtedly improve the QoL of west Asia as a whole.

Edit: bless all the oppressed groups in America, it's going to continue to get worse with maga becoming more extreme and the American left continuing its trend of being largely impotent.

  • Yeah I read it again

  • Romanian≠Roma

Do you mean you dated Romani women?

  • They never did. Actually that's par the course for woc

  • It might've been taken as parroting Uyghur genocide ethnic cleansing "cultural suppression" myth.

  • Bump

  • Are you from China? Or are you non-chinese working/living in China?

  • What I have learned from these lists is don't download poorly made games and you should be good for the most part.

  • They have to do that, it would be too on the nose if they supported isntrael.

They'd lose a lot of credibility, because people would realize that they're just gulf state propaganda wing.

  • I think this should be looked at similar to the anti-government protests in Iran from not too long ago.

On social media you would think that everyone in Iran is engaging in these protests, but it ends up existing mostly on social media. In the end, the women, life, freedom movement died.

I'm not saying that this is like that. What I am saying is that we should wait and see where this goes. If it turns out that people are actually taking this seriously then I think we'll see this dissent grow with time.

I think we should wait and see for now.

  • I can see why you would feel that way, but I think the US wouldn't want a color revolution occurring in KSA. I mean who would fund a color revolution there?

    China is a big no.

Russia has its hands full w/Ukraine.

Iran is already invested in its other fronts.

Europe is struggling bc of Ukraine and now Trump.

There really is no one else to fund this that could benefit from it.

I don't think isntrael is dumb enough to try a color revolution with its 2nd strongest ally.

This might be real, but we should wait before coming to conclusions.
