To be honest, having been in the exact same situation with other games, I think the problem is you.
I’ve played Warframe for hundreds of hours, I never once felt forced to spend money.
I had fun with my friends, we were farming the Frames we wanted, at our pace.
While I get your point, I think you should really consider WHY you want to spend money. What’s you goal with the game ? Are you at least having fun playing it, or are you achieving a list of chores as fast as possible in order to feel the achievement of having 100% the game ?
If it’s the later, it’s a never ending quest. There won’t be pride at the end, just frustration, and wasted money.
I’m honestly surprised at all the hate this game is getting. I don’t know if what I’ve been seeing on social networks is a very vocal minority, or if I’m in the minority.
I liked HZD story and universe, didn’t care much for the gameplay (felt too much like Ubisoft).
I tried HFW but didn’t play more than a few hours, it felt like a forced sequel, the story arc was complete at the end of HZD, and the gameplay was as boring as the first one. To this day, I still don’t get how anyone could be excited about a third game, which would just be more of the same.
I’d be way more excited by a totally new IP from Guerilla, and maybe a different type of game. Or a return to killzone.
When I heard of a monster hunting game set in the horizon universe, I was intrigued. After seeing the reveal, I have two major gripes: I don’t like the characters animation, and I don’t like the fact that I won’t be able to create my own character. I’m also not sure about the time limited aspect of it, but we’ll see.
Still willing to give the game a chance, and see how they will act on the feedback.
This is such a wild take. « I buy the steam deck because I am informed and smart, they buy the switch 2 because they’re nostalgic impulsive morons ».
Has it ever occurred to you that not everybody is you, and people have different tastes ? Some gamers want to play the latest COD, others are Final Fantasy super fan, and others want to play Zelda and Mario. Most people even just play on a smartphone! (Disgusting, I know).
Your lack of basic awareness of what an individual is is astonishing. May I never meet and have to talk to someone like you again.
This is the anti musk circlejerk, I’ve seen countless articles like this being posted here, and the cohort of brainless haters always follow.
I have a Tesla, not because I like musk (dude is human garbage), but because I like the car. Only a moron wouldn’t be able to find the manual door unlock. At this point this is either trolling or natural selection.
Not specific to 40K, but Goobertown Hobbies is one of my favourite channels. It’s a mini painting channel, always positive and beginner friendly, with a lot of useful advice regarding painting techniques.
On verra cet hiver.
I came here to say the same thing. The primaris range does not feel like space marines. They’re great, but the Rhino, predator and land speeder are iconic.
They're probably hyping up metroid prime again in preparation of MP4.
Grubb also used the opportunity to claim that Nintendo would be doing "something not related to Tears of the Kingdom" with the Legend of Zelda franchise later in 2023.
Please be OOT remastered. (Most likely TP though).
I would usually agree with you, but in this specific case, ABK is such a shit company with awesome IPs that I’m just happy they’re being acquired by somebody else than Tencent.
