Use any pronouns you prefer to refer to me, unless you're gonna be weird about it.

  • I don't think the elections were either "free" or "fair" and they probably did rig it, but that doesn't justify invading a country, if you think it does you are just a warmonger. There are plenty of countries with similarly rigged elections that the US doesn't consider invading and the main reason they are so interested in Venezuela is the massive oil resources American oil companies would be able to access if a government friendly to US companies would somehow get into power.

Both sources provided in this article about the election in Venezuela come from the same website, which isn’t exactly clear of bias.

No media is clear of bias, you are a child if you think like that. You just disagree with the bias which is fair, it's your opinion.

  • You can’t educate the unwilling, and you’ve stated your intent to remain unwilling plenty of times.

    Give examples to this claim.

Why should anyone waste time with you?

Why did you waste your time writing this?

I’d be your kids say similar things, but maybe behind your back.

What a weird and uncomfortable thing to say to someone.

  • If you want to educate me because "I'm so fucking stupid", please inform me on what Harris would have actually done to help Ukraine or give them anything substantively different than what Trump is offering.

  • If you think it would have panned out differently under Harris, I have a bridge to sell you. She would have not have had the influence to get Ukraine into NATO even if she wanted to, what is she going to do? Kick out Hungary? The only thing Trump has done that Harris wouldn't have is this minerals for protection deal. The US was never an honest ally to Ukraine, they were only interested in offloading weapons onto them and bogging down Russia, they were never prepared to help in a way that would actually lead to Ukraine getting it's lost territory back. Ukraine should have never given up their nukes, promises are only words, they never should have trusted western countries promising them security to begin with, Ukraine having nukes might be the only scenario where an independent Ukraine doesn't end up losing territory to Russia.

  • I imagine they just want to recommend something already on F-Droid, and, I also imagine the IronFox people will start releasing on F-Droid directly soon vs having a added repo. But, adding the repo is not hard.

  • I wouldn't classify him as a "good thing", Trump says he will get rid of daylight savings, which is mostly agreed upon to be a positive in terms of people's health and safety, but I wouldn't say that makes Trump a "good thing".

It's possible he could cause a lot of harm in some aspects and then do beneficial things in other aspects. People don't just do strictly "good" things and other people do strictly "bad" things.

  • Owned by someone almost no one likes, shoves 1000s of ads down your throat, can't even look at something someone else sent you because you don't have an account. Why are people leaving???

  • You are a sad sad little person. Just block me. You can very clearly tell I am not a bot account, I comment on posts. Fuck off.

Just because you don't like the articles it doesn't mean they are "spam". Someone with 0 posts and 100 comments complaining about "spam", you don't contribute to this website and then tell other people not too, seems like you would happier somewhere else. God forbid someone posts too many links to a link aggregating website.

  • The justification is that tribes urged the government to save a species of fish, which fox news considers wasting water, no blame is put on corporations that use impossibly more water for snack cultivation eg pistachios which they consider to be the white corporation owner's god given right.

  • It is topical, you would know that if you read the article as declassified files were released in 2024, that showed Ethel was not a spy, no one is arguing her husband wasn't a spy, so yes it is relevant to ask for a posthumous pardon after evidence was revealed this year that she had nothing to do with it and the government at the time knew that, but chose to execute her anyways.

An NSA codebreaker’s 1950 assessment reveals Ethel Rosenberg knew of her husband’s espionage but ‘did not engage in the work herself’ — despite this, the US sent her to die in the electric chair, writes ANDREW TUCKER
