I'm afraid you're wrong. We've had something very similar to Wero in Sweden since 2012 - it's called Swish. It helps, but it unfortunately doesn't get rid of the need for visa and mastercard.
Does anyone have any experience with Zeitkapsl? I switched to Ente almost a year ago and am generally happy with them, but I'd rather support a European company if they're offering more or less the same solution.

Thank you for clarifying. As I tried to explain in my post, I'm not saying that what Microsoft is doing here is wrong. I'm saying that Microsoft, and other giant tech companies have a leverage on most countries that could become an issue for us in the future, if we don't start relying more on our own technology.
