Our neighbor nearly wrecked our car, which was parked in our driveway, last week. Her car rolled down her driveway on its own and came within centimeters of ours, crashing into a utility box next to the street. That was definitely not-dull.

Yeah, the world was surprised about how stupid the US voters are twice! I believe that Trump lost when I see it. In the meantime I'm quite confident in US stupidity and don't get my hopes up.
This is not correct. An inverter heat pump can adjust its output, unlike an on-off heat pump. The latter always runs at full power and regulates its output by constantly turning on and off.
My colleagues bitched about how high the prices for gasoline are. I smiled and told them that I charged my EV for 2,40 € yesterday (30 kWh, with 0,08 €/kWh). With grid electricity it would've been roughly 6,60 €. Divide by 2 and you have the cost per 100 km.

Boy I really wish I am wrong. And I'm continuing my path in decarbonising my and my families life. And also to use my voice to change the life of others around me to the better. But I am absolutely sceptical the world hears and acts on this next warning shot.
Our government threw logic and the commitment to leave our children a world worth living out of the window. Because in the future the hydrogen fairy is coming and will provide us with cheap green hydrogen. Oh, and fusion will be viable.
Sometimes you have to wonder what they are smoking. But then again: bribes lobbying.
Op is kind of right in my opinion. We (our government) are about to ditch green energy/tech.
Maybe it's summer in the picture.
