I say you just got unlucky with your card. So i get why you are disappointed with AMD. What brand you had? Just keep in mind many had/have same problems with Nvidia gpus. I was one of them.
Yes i have. I will still wait before i decide to go premium on any app. They are all pretty new so far.

Texhnolyze was hard to get in, same as Serial experiments Lain. You must really be in the mood for something heavy like thos two animes. Good series nevertheless.
Ghost in the Shell is classic same as Ghibli movies.
What games do you want to play? 3070TI will struggle to run smooth newer games on 1440p. + there is a heating issue. As for battery, you will game when your are plugged in. Every single laptop will have bad battery life when gaming.
If that was my money i wouldn't buy.
That all depends on you.
If you dont have room for desktop pc and you want to game/work and be on a move go for it (but i would suggest Asus)
If you have room/budget go for desktop pc.
Alternative buy Steam deck/Asus Ally and cheaper non gaming laptop for work/school.

AMD all the way. Few weeks ago I finally made a switch from Nvida for the first time. I have no problems in gaming. All games that I play run same as on windows.
I just cant get over Starfield winning most innovative gameplay.
