So I can’t say this is true for each “brand” of machine, however just from observing how it works where I vote.
They scan your ID with the computer. This activates a key card. That key card is then inserted into the voting machine allowing a ballot to be cast.
Even if you assume those records are not directly tied together. It would then be trivial for anyone with access to both data sets to just use time stamps to match the id scan to the time the ballot was submitted.
The thing that I never hear brought up about voter id, is that voter id + electronic voting means your vote is no longer anonymous.
And in my opinion this is the real reason why they are pushing for it. How do improve your propaganda machine if you don’t know individual results. Let alone all the more sinister reasons this information would valuable to an authoritarian regime.
I tried finding it as I have seen the meme a few times. But there doesn’t appear to exist either in the app or on the website. There is just a faq and a normal web form to submit questions and someone will get back to you.

Edit: I have tried it with chipotle’s chat bot and they appear to have disabled it and it just says it can’t code as a response.
This depends on where you are located, but it’s better to be on the safe side and assume yes you will be arrested unless you specifically know otherwise.
I would assume by now most places have corrected this but I remember there being stories of how people would lose their license and then drive to bars on lawn mowers and golf carts etc. as a loophole.
I will start by saying that of course you shouldn’t do anything you are not comfortable with doing. Especially if you are going to be leaving it unsupervised.
On the raspberry pi the headers allow you to insert wires directly into the board. Those are I/O pin headers, the black blocks with the holes.
As the simplest option you would just strips the ends of the wires to get the bare copper and push them into the holes.
Next best would be pins that you can crimp onto the wire. Pinch it to the wire with pliers doesn’t have to be too fancy just needs to fit snug in the holes so it doesn’t come loose. You can actually purchase wire that have these pins attached. You can find them by searching for bread board jumper wires as an example.
Keep in mind that the raspberry pi board is limited to 5v on the output so unless you plan on adding secondary power you are limited in your LED selection based on the output voltage of the pi board.
It can be done with the proper cutting blade/wheel.
Just keep in mind that you aren’t cutting wood so you may need to go slower than you normally would, and I would use a clamp to the hold the work piece.
Might be worthwhile to try some practice cuts as well.
