Its no secret that I am a socialist, I hope that with my posts and replies that others may follow. If you like what I have to say I would recommend checking Cowbee's comprehensive list credit to comrade @Cowbee@lemmy.ml for they're work

  • Stalker 2 sucks.

  • Its great to shit on windows but, honestly I don't see an issue...

    Linux user.

  • UK here.

Its better then America, but many fail to see that our NHS wasn't given freely, we struggled for it, and year by year we loose more of it to privatisation. I am currently witnessing one hospital closure in my county, and this is happening across the board. Nhs Waiting lists are a hot topic across the country due in part to years of austerity measures.

  • And where you drew the line? These things tend to move in one direction. so giving an inch may as well be giving a mile.

  • Added another pic, firstly I thought it had been a GPU or m.2 and maybe an issue with USB. This had been happening for months after rebuilding the PC, it would randomly shut down, not making it through full boot. After a second rebuild, this issue seemed to of stopped, but eventually started again, followed by rebuild after rebuild. Then I happened to notice the broken gate, and luckly I am using an AM4 motherboard which is old enough to have had leaked schematics and board-views. After that it was a case of bridging one bad component which was a 0ohm rissistor and installing a new gate

  • It works, jumped a missing pad and installed a new gate. I hate micro soldering.

  • Right to Repair @discuss.tchncs.de

Pc kept powering off/bootloopinghoping this fixes it.

    A convincing fake?

  • A principled stance would be to do what ever you feel helps but also understand that as one we are weak, collectively we are strong, then we need to find the most effective way to crush capitalism as a collective.

I would champion mutual aid, this has changed over the years. wouldn't we as a collective do better in funnelling our resources towards building cadre's capable of leading a revolution? Rather than knitting clubs leading soup kitchens?

  • Its glass, might swop it out for sapphire when I get round to my next battery change

  • Here's to a speedy recovery for us both comrade!

  • The only real pain had come from putting my shoe on, I've had alot worse from a lot less. The xray nurse was shocked that I had walked in and assumed it was just severe bruising. Hard as nail lol. And yes, this is the kick in the ass that will keep me in line. I'm attending an alcohics anonymous type thing (non religious), with a friend soon. I had been found blundering around a coastal path in the dark. And where I am, the coast isn't safe this time of year.

    A wild night out

  • People parroting this are falling for the capitalist propaganda. Unions work so well that the ruling class has employed a mass campaign against unions. That isn't weakness.

We the working class keep our society running, we can shut our society down, and this scares the shit out of the ruling classes who while wealthy in assets, are weak in number.

  • Kurt Cobain making a come back?

  • I'd call myself a cinaphile, a term I had not known till recent. I couldn't call myself a film critic, or a film buff.

  • Most of us are walking in lockstep, many of my comrades are family, in away, they have to be if we are to be revolutionaries. I believe its a regional issue and not a national one, at least I hope..

My region is historically with issues, I refer to us as the peasantry of the socialist party

  • There's some complicated tension in my branch. I don't think they are being well meaning, it would be nice if this had been the case. seems more attributable to ego and a family feud/nepotism, the more frustrating thing is, because I had risen fairy fast with in the party, and and many of my comrades seem to sincerely like me, a lot of the abuse comes with a smile and admiration. One that sticks in my head was "some people are born with it, some people learn it, and you fell into it, you really fell into it, didn't you?" after I inpromptly turned up to a large trades council regional meeting where I spoke on a panel (all very last minute, some of my comrades knew I was attending but the person to say this had no clue) and this was said to me while we were debriefing in our socialist party group.
