I live in a rural area and don't keep valuables in my car so mine stays unlocked at home. That plus I'd rather someone open my door, prowl through and find nothing then have a broke window because if they wanna steal my car it's a 1989 so it's easy af to start with no key so and they want it it's gonna be gone.
Honestly I'd say it's mainly just the first episode. For some reason the tone is a bit off from the rest of the series but S1 in general is kind of weird.
I tried it and wasn't the biggest fan, mainly because it's designed like an iOS app. Probably great for former Apollo users but as an android user it's just not for me. It definitely is a pretty slick web client though and I'd use it over the official reddit app any day 😂
You also don't have a 50% chance the comment you're replying to is from a bot and copy and pasted either from that post, another random post, or even the original post that a repost bot stole posted snd you are now commenting on.
Reddit is a bot riddled mess.
The only reason I use it is that not enough prominent people are on Mastodon and for me it's only good for being a quick way of seeing what's going on in media and politics.
Edited to include a summary of what I've done so far. I may try to go more in depth with it, but I am thinking of making a new post detailing what I did after I get it up and running fully functional. That way I'll know all the mistakes I made and bumps encountered and how I overcame them. I will make sure to include a link to the post in an edit here when it's done.
I'm attempting to set up a self hosted instance so that I can control who I'm Federated with or not. Probably will just keep it open though, and I'd have to be a real asshole to get my instance defederated anywhere lmao.
Yea exactly, no hate for the app ofc just not for me personally. I know a lot of people are grateful for it
