  • What's something half as serious, that people are not interested in hearing?

  • Kind of hard to find something exactly half as serious. Less than. Sure.

    1. Pugs/etc bred to have unhealthy short snouts

    2. The way new movies/tv have been written for split attention viewers instead of making media more captivating.

    3. How video games are all live service making them unplayable once support ends.

  • He's pumping and dumping the market to get money.

    He's making 40 trades a day. Many of those trades are over 1 Million USD. He's made 15 Nvidia trades in the last 3 months.

    Price of gas has been fluctuating by ~$0.30CAD every 2 weeks. Of course that is driving fluctuations in cost which means increased market volatility.

    But lucky for Mr. TACO... his shit always hits the fan first.

  • This is a nice "outside looking in" perspective on ADHD. I don't wanna rip on it cuz it comes from a good place.

    But.

    That being said, I suspect that there wasn't a lot of successful ADHDers in history.

    Maybe Modern History... but IMO even Little House on the Prairie is only showing a fictionalized thin slice of lifestyles back then.

    Neurodivergent people are the reason humanity survived this far. We're the ones that learned the patterns of the animals to hunt and the plants we cultivate; Which mushrooms killed john last week and judy last year.

    Light/sound/smell sensitivity... that's the makings of a hunter/gatherer. Advanced social que reading... that's communicating with people who don't speak your dialect. Hyperfixation... well that's just tool/garment making fuel.

    I highly doubt non-autists discovered metallurgy like Bronze & Steel.

  • Not exactly. Did you play the first seasons? Basically every dlc there were items you'd farm to buy gear (or something it's been a decade now and I forget) that became completely obsolete when the next dlc came out.

    Most rpgs you can sell those items. But in Destiny you had to delete them.

    I played tf out of MMOs. It wouldn't have stood out to me if it was at all a typical experience.

  • I bought the Destiny PS4 when the game launched. I knew I was basically signing up for World of Halocraft and all the bs that comes with it.

    But what did surprise me was how poor the execution was. Every single DLC made all the previous gear/items COMPLETELY USELESS.
