  • this is rad, the new show is a massive W

  • are there any controllers besides the old steam controller and maybe the Xbox elite controller that support steam input for extra buttons?

    ive been looking for over a year for any affordable controller where I can just map play/pause media and prev/next track to the extra back buttons and ive found nothing

  • is it a cop out to say assist trophies? i just love seeing all the different reps from different games

  • this was it for me, goodnight everybody

  • does graphene os solve this? I thought they were mostly google under the hood

  • <sex number>

    <weed number>

    <boob number>

  • both kinda remind me of hamlet. huh, weird.

  • I only ever get nuggets and fries there, and those always taste fine to me, I even look forward to it sometimes. can't speak on the rest of the food they serve. thier water taste like ass

  • I use Nobara and I recoomend it to all my friends (the ones who like linux anyway).

    while its true that really no linux distro will have any significant better game performance than another, Nobara stands out to me because its made by GloriousEggroll (the same guy who makes the protonGE patches for steam) for his dad so that his dad can have a simple no-fuss gaming computer they can use to game together.

    the specific things I like about it are how it helps you get the correct graphics drivers and game/controller fixups at installation, and comes with steam preinstalled. I also like how the Nobara software updater also handles flatpaks as well as regular packages, its my one stop graphical (or CLI) shop for downloading or updating any new programs.

    I also like its themes and that its based on Fedora.

  • I like joining 5+ mins early so I can just sit in silence and work while waiting for the meeting to start rather than stressing about needing to lock at the clock (j have adhd and tend to hyperfocus). plus I dont mind a little small talk, but even so no one else on my team seems to want to smalltalk so even if someone else joins early it's pretty quiet

  • what's Heinz field

  • what's rule 7

  • youve opened my eyes to a brand new way of using the terminal. how does it work on a multi monitor setup? does it always default to opening on primary monitor, or will it pay attention to where hour cursor is or something? can you open 2 or 3 at a time when you have the extra monitors for it? (I will be answering all these questions for myself in a few hours lol just not at my PC rn)

  • I think they were just saying its more convenient for them to use a maximized terminal, this drop down example is very small in terms of screen real estate

  • wow I super do not understand all the down votes on this, it seems like a pretty cut and dry joke about the TV show Friends and the philosphical theory of Solipsism, which seems like exactly the kind of funny thought that id have in a shower.

  • I disagree and I think you're undermining how cool it is of the marvel rival Devs specifically for caring about linux players. lots of other games are ignoring linux just fine (I miss gta Online so damn much), ultimately we are still at (last time I checked) like 4% max of the gaming share

  • does anyone know what was the cause of death? they were so young

  • Linux @lemmy.world

    FOSS Desktop 2FA app?
