  • In my teens, I would work at my oldest brother's in-law's small farm during school holidays. There was a cow that befriended me and would walk over to the fence for head "scritches" when it saw me. One evening, after work, we were having dinner and my brother said, "By the way, you're eating your friend." Quit eating "meat" at 14, expanded to other critters, then questioned why no one feels sorry for a fish; quit eating all flesh by the time I was 16; not exactly sure when that evolved to include all the other stuff like dairy and eggs. Eating your friend can change your life.

  • Remember, Zionist Bernie Sanders had CodePink members arrested outside his Senate office.

  • Isn't every modern state a settler colony? Might be a few Pacific Island nations that were created by the indigenous population, and perhaps Mongolia, but most states are built upon the bones of the native populations that lived there.

  • A socialist society would revert to one based on healthy foods, fitness, and free total-body healthcare, instead of a profit driven one. Obesity is not a sign of a society of plenty, but of greed. Rampant obesity is the fault of the horrible fats, sugars, and salt laden food choices corporations make available, and wage slavery pushing people into a sedentary life; not a lack of personal control. I doubt shipping our ilk off to "fat camps" will be the long term solution. The whole food system, from farm to table, will need to be revamped, starting with that stupid food pyramid we are taught when young.

  • I haven't eaten meat in 58 years. Ethical dilemma aside, what would be the point at this stage in my life. It would feel like a stumble and fall at the end of a marathon.

  • That $40B Trump gave Millei was a prepayment.

  • Will we even notice any difference?

  • How's your Mandarin?

  • The system is working according to plan.

  • The video is awesome; should have saved the launch for July 4th. Turns out that making a big heavy is harder than just building a bigger rocket. Once upon a time there was a government agency dedicated to space engineering, but it was neutered by cutbacks and the drive for profit. Maybe the Chinese will launch satellites into space for the Amazon, since Jeffy can't seem to do it himself. By the way, this rocket platform was supposed to ferry equipment and rovers for the Artemis Lunar Project; the Chinese will have built a lunar city before the US puts another hooman on the surface.

  • So, tell us about these grandparents. Why did they have to flee Cuba during the revolution? Did they do something that might have made the new government investigate their actions?

  • People still use Oracle-TikTok? Much like Twitter, anyone still using fascist owned app, are Nazi collaborators filling the coffers of billionaires.

If you have a VPN, you can still download the real version from Canada, though it will lack US content creators, which might be a good thing.

  • Art was always pushed towards neutrality in the US. Movies by Boots Riley are lucky to even get a screening, while a piece of crap like Paul Anderson's "One Battle After Another" becomes a darling of the liberals. The treatment of the black women in that movie is a crime against humanity. [Note: Anderson taught cinema classes in Tel Aviv.]

  • I find the formatting of your question odd. One could see communist as being the realists, not radical. Trotskyites are Marxists, they simply envision a different methodology for spreading the word; a worldwide socialist revolution versus a more Lenin-Stalinist "domino theory" of one country at a time; Mao, a revolution starts in rural areas, while Lenin-Trotsky were urban-centric. We're all comrades at the end of the day with similar goals; the labels and tribes work against us.

  • The fact that women didn't get the right to vote until 1920 tells you all you need to know about the founding fathers and the US constitution. It was a piece of crap when written, and is a piece of crap today. Its the reason they push the whole "the constitution is immutable" BS.

  • US version of the UK's House of Lords.

  • Windoze drivers might be a problem. This might be a case where Linux gets serious attention from Chinese devs first, given the Chinese government's push to dump Windoze by 2030.

  • And for those who say they want socialism, many believe it can be voted into existence with some version of social democracy. They still want capitalism, but with "free" stuff.

  • "The U.S. has imposed bans and restrictions on Huawei since 2019, citing cybersecurity concerns and allegations of intellectual property theft." How's that working out? In just 7 years, Huawei went from a "doomed company" to this headline.
