As someone who does not own a Tesla due to a crippling, chronic case of nomoneyitis, a Tesla has been my dream car for a while. That is to say, it was, because after watching more than a few Technology Connections videos @ YouTube, Hyundai’s EV has me looking like that distracted boyfriend meme.
It looks even cooler than a Tesla to me, and the features seem better too.
Speaking as an Apple user - I am heavily invested in their ecosystem - I am extremely happy that Lightning is on death’s door. I fully agree with the EU and I am very grateful to them for forcing Apple’s hand.
That being said, your point about USB-A falls apart when you consider any situation where your vision is even partially obstructed. Such as; back of the computer, back of your monitors, a dock unless you’re holding it, etc etc.
What I’m hoping will happen:
Apple sells only USB-C to USB-C cables
Apple users start requesting more USB-C ports on motherboards / desktop computers
Mouse/Keyboard manufacturers produce USB-C alternatives of their products
Motherboards move even more to USB-C
GOTO 3 until USB-A becomes as legacy as VGA or PS/2
We hopefully never see another single orientation external cable ever again.
I was really upset about the poor performance of .world and how Beehaw had good performance but defederated, but the devs have fixed .world performance overnight and I haven’t had any issues yet today.
Overall I’m happy with how it turned out for me joining .world :)
I swear by this thing, although mine is made by Jordan who appear to have discontinued it. This seems like a good replacement.
This is more environmentally friendly than the disposable ones that come with a toothpick, as you only need to dispose of the tiny horseshoe shape thing when the floss snaps.
