  • Mark Cuban is a difficult one. He has reduced drug prices to the cost plus a profit margin (which is low*) and so its like "Wow somebody cares!" And this has benefited thousands. But then he says I might fund a new venture and sell Cost Plus Drugs one day; So really he doesn't care, he's looking for a big buyer to come in and offer a huge payout to stop the big pharma company losses.

  • The pedo ring likes tanned kids...obviously

  • Totally agree on that. But I will also carry out my shopping in a cloth bag i brought into tue store instead of plastic at the till.

The more things are unwanted, the less oil derivatives that get made, which reduces profits. Not enough to dissaude big oil, but better than funding them and spin off industries

  • Immich

  • My daughter does. I'll quote a funny line from a movie, and she'll correct me with the actual quote.

Not sure how her memory is so amazing for dialog. She did start talking full sentence, with proper syntax, at age two, so maybe its just her gift.

  • My son used to eat too fast without chewing properly. He'd just swallow lumps of food sometimes, even though we'd actively work on slowing down.

He was a solid mass of a kid from his down syndrome, (he has the physique of a silverback)

He went wide eyed at dinner one night and wasn't breathing, I had to get him out of the chair and spun around for a heimlich maneuver. Because he was choking he was going all limp, and I'd just finished cancer treatment so I was fatigued and weak AF, so it took everything I had to lift him and do the heimlich. He coughed out the food on the first or second try. Thankfully, because I was done after that exertion.

  • Americans have a large percent of population that aren't educated well, and gravitate toward consipracy theories and cult leader type followings.

Texas is a large state that publishes school materials, it is influenced by big oil (so they don't want critical thinkers), and then other states save money by buying the premade curriculum from Texas. Also schools and teachers lack funding--by design

  • Its not the sole issue, but UK democracy is going askew. Tougher laws on protesting. Arresting citizens for free speech. Arresting people for wearing shirts about the genocide in Palestine.

  • I mean sure, but also why add to the issue. The more people on board with quiting plastic use the more companies have to adapt to better solutions, and can help bring awareness. But politicians in kahootz with big corp makes real change almost impossible

  • Not always. I've always tried to buy what is better for the planet, even if that costs a bit more. Or will repair stuff instead of toss and buy.

There are dozens of us 😀

  • I don't understand why he gets voted back in, he actively works against progress and good things.

  • Its Dave, he always puts his wet hands in the bag

  • Main image loads for me, but all the rest fail to load.

  • In both cases people actively worked against health authorities, because they believed some delusions about the governments motive

  • Reds seem particularly bad. But our bright blue Toyota still looks like it came out of the show room and its 22 years old.

  • Vancouver skytrains are great. Autonomous elevated metro, every 3-5 minutes in some cases.

There's a new line going in to extend even further outside current metro boundaries.

  • Let's correct the headline to poor eating habits/diet led to vitamin B12 deficiency, causing delusions.

Because I haven't eaten meat in 35 years, and haven't had any dairy, eggs, etc (vegan) in at least 5 years, and my B12 is fine.
