  • Alright, we get it. You like VIM.

  • Outside of the meals, they charge for it.

  • Honestly, I like the cantina chicken stuff. It's better than their normal chicken imo. The only bad part is they charge like 50¢ for the Avocado Verde sauce

  • Lol, lmao even. D2: The Final Shape got a 92%? That's really generous. Personally, I would give it a solid 70-80.

  • Ooh, was that part of one of the short story collections, or was it a part of the mainline novels?

  • I'm sorry, "misleadingly claimed..."? That's just straight up fucking lying

  • Xbox can play Blu-ray as well, iirc. Still though, your point does stand. Let's just hope that All-Digital consoles don't supercede physical media consoles.

  • Not really the point, but that's a funny little oxymoron; to be a radical anything you'd need to be actually committed to something so much that you want to do actual ground work to further a cause.

  • Oh, 100%. There's actually a metric in a lot of sandbox-type games called "TTP" (Time to Penis) which measures how fast players will draw a cock n balls after gaining control of their character

  • That's not what it meant, albeit it was worded dumb. It meant $10K total, with 8000 being USD and 2000 being foreign currency.

  • I don't know, maybe we should ask the author, Phil Mckraken.

  • I only ever use :D when I'm trying to be passive aggressive lol

  • Probabilistic is a $5 word, so to make it make a little more sense, here's what the story is: Maplestory's parent company, Nexon, added lootboxes into the game without telling people the drop rates of items, which afaik is required because of gambling laws(or something like that), so they had to give a player a 5% refund on their purchases of said lootboxes because of it.

  • Lobbying as well as developmental issues I would assume. I'm no real developer just yet but I'd imagine creating robust security protocols is time-consuming and thinking of every possible vulnerability is not entirely worth it.

  • So wait, you're telling me that a Skele-ton would be roughly 20,000KG?

  • It's just the type of paper filter that was used. The person in the post used a flat-bottom filter when a No°3 or No°4 cone filter would've been better. (As an extra aside, the specific type of pour over device seems to be from Starbucks, and those come with No°3 cone filters to begin with.)

  • Calvin is, for lack of a better term, a little shit. Basically, his mom decided to become a stay-at-home parent since she was used to stress and frustration, which are things that a young child would also have in spades.

  • Even a broken clock is right twice a day...

  • Lionel Hutz, Esq

    Free consolation? No, money down!

  • Ask Lemmy @lemmy.world

What are some good books you've been reading lately?
