  • If I recall correctly, Descent 3 was made by another developer team and it was quite a different game. But Descent 1 and 2 are favorites of mine. Some of the original developers made Overload. Try it, if you haven't already.

  • A short hike.

  • Yes, we do.

  • It is very easy to understand.

We should empower new users and show them better ways.

  • Sounds like your doing passwords wrong.

  • Vollkorn. The best I could find.

  • I buy from Steam because of the excellent Linux support, and Steam input.

I buy from GOG because I like owning my games and I like preserving good old games.

Every time I buy a game I make a choice based on those criteria.

I don't like owning games twice.

The choice isn't always easy, but that's OK.

  • In my country it's becoming ever more common that when I visit someone and that person lives in an apartment, the building has a doorman/security and they ask for my id.

Also all supermarkets want to know your id number, but there at least I can say "no thanks".

There are many user friendly KDE distros.

There are many distros tailored for software development. Some of them certainly use KDE.

Linux is learning. Don't be afraid to learn new things. But don't make your work more difficult on purpose.

  • Yes, pretty much this. I have the 8bitdo's Pro controllers (the first one and the 2) and I'm pretty happy with them. But that's me.

  • That's what I'm hoping, too. A collaboration between Valve and Framework, with iFixit for good measure. I'm expecting that the processor and motherboard will be custom designed, but I'm also hoping that the hardware will be repairable and upgradable.

  • Click on the drop down menu.

If it doesn't work, click on the drop down menu while being in Desktop Mode.

If it doesn't work, download the windows executable directly from GOG, then install manually with Heroic. For this you can use a browser in Desktop Mode.

  • Another vote for the Supernote. I've got the Nomad and I'm so far pretty happy with it. I use it mainly for note taking, for which it excels. It was pretty expensive to import it where I live, but its worth it.

  • Wasn't UNIX (and thus Linux) all about multi seat like since the seventies?

  • Sayonara is the one I'm using.

  • I hear you. I discovered Omnivore and was in the process of migrating from Pocket to it until less than a year later Omnivore was gone.

  • I don't know what viber is. I also don't think they won't enshittify it. I just hope to buy more time until a similar service or technology appears.

  • Oh, you are missing so much...
