  • As opposed to the previous, slightly smaller, confirmation bias machine?

  • I've said it before but that's what Trump always does. He fucks up an existing situation (which may not be ideal in most cases, but then few things are), and after making everything worse for everyone, arrives at a so called deal that isn't even half as good as the original one was.

And then there's much rejoicing about how great he is.

  • What if you're at the beach and could really do with a warm beer?

  • I don't know, works for me.

  • Bytes are currently (it wasn't always so) octets, even in English. Which you would know if you knew anything about computing.

  • I see. Their focus does seem to be on microsoft compatibility, although pushing odf would be more sensible in Europe.

  • Is it really, or is it just a matter of interface?

  • Plugging that in by touch was always good for a laugh.

  • The tilde is a shortcut for home in most shells.

  • Despite we having our share of weirdos, most Europeans have no clue as to how mind bogglingly insane religion has become in the US (and how normal most US people think it is).

  • Some corporations are over 18 years of age, so no problem there. And we already know that they're citizens, while the plebian inhabitants of the country are merely consumers. So it all works out.

  • People probably wouldn't like it to have only one product without a single ad. They probably had bug reports about it "my roku doesn't display ads on my smart TV, does that mean that it's broken?".

  • Great for meat sculptures!

  • A bit, but not a good one which can damage stuff in some cases. Better to use the right product at the right time.

  • Very handy, they're all quite confusing, especially when you're stuck cooking.

  • Ok, but you need a laptop instead of a scrap of paper and a random pen. In many cases, it's just overkill.

  • And such a great deal it was going to be too, just tremendous!

  • In that case, it makes perfect sense, of course.
