Honestly sometimes aircon is a curse too - we bought one of those portable units, it's great and turns our bedroom baltic but if you forget to turn it off you wake up with a really bad cotton mouth and an electric bill that makes you question your life choices
No rain here yet but I don't think it's far away!
I think I'll be doing a mix of some cleaning, gardening and fixing the winch on one of my landrovers if it stays dry out there
