they/them, love cats and bad at gaming

  • It's very walkable. I can get to most places easily or just take a stroll around the neighborhood.

  • Pokemon TCG Online had trading, but they replaced it with TCG Live, that doesn't and is generally a worse product.

  • Thank you very much for this.

  • That's awesome. Are you planning on giving it out publicly?

  • Lemmy @lemmy.ml

What if you could import and export subscription lists between different instances?

  • I had the exact opposite problem, where I caught covid so early (back in January 2020) that they were still calling it bronchitis.

My mom, on the other hand, had a situation similar to you, and it hit her HARD. She still has long covid symptoms where she gets extreme fatigue and a weird taste in her mouth.

  • I consider myself a rookie audiophile. I must have my music files in flac format and they must be directly on my hard drive. I buy a bit of stuff from bandcamp and qobuz, but for my methods, there's a few routes I can take to get the majority through piracy.

The one I've chosen is called slav art, and it basically rips directly from streaming services and zips it in a downloadable file. It used to be on discord but got chased away, and it used to be on matrix after that but left there too for some reason. Now it's on its own revolt instance.

  • My main one is on lemmy.ml and I'll admit it was just the first one I saw. My second one is on lemmy.blahaj.zone in case something happens to the dev instance.

  • Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ @lemmy.dbzer0.com

Where would you go to watch bollywood movies?

  • Hmm, yeah, I think I'm fine with the Cowboy Bebop opening.

  • If something's important enough, I end up hearing it through people on discord. I don't actively look for news.

  • Fedora KDE spin. I dunno how to feel about the recent announcement but from what I know, it shouldn't affect Fedora itself.

  • It's nice to know I'm not alone. I really like Tears of the Kingdom but can barely play it. I thought it perhaps had to do with depression but I'm just overwhelmed. (Though it might still partially be depression.)

Not only that, but I could never get into open world games outside of the Zelda series. I tried Skyrim so many times and put it down every time. There's just something about it that won't click with me even though I recognize it as being a good game.

  • Books @lemmy.ml

Need help learning how to read books again

  • If it's still available, I'd like Yuppie Psycho.

  • I wouldn't say "currently", but I used to use Infinity.

  • I think I will try this first, though I appreciate all the replies people sent.

  • Technology @beehaw.org

Is Windows 11 worth installing over 10?

  • My current one, Fedora, since 36 had just released. I'll probably continue to use it as I wasn't as much of a distro hopper as most people anyway.

  • Eyes of the void and tortie cats were my favorite.

  • This changes every few days, but right now it's Eleanor Rigby by the Beatles. I wouldn't even call myself a fan of them but this song slaps.

  • Asklemmy @lemmy.ml

What have you done so far to "do your part"?

  • VA-11 HALL-A (not sure if I wrote that right) is a nice little cyberpunk visual novel that can run on a toaster and has a native linux version. It sort of falls in line with the choose your own adventure you mentioned because you can make some choices that affect certain things, but mostly, the game is about mixing drinks and changing lives.

  • Gaming @beehaw.org

Apparently Cyberpunk 2077 is good now?

  • I bought that game too because it was on sale. Maybe I'll flip flop between it and Hollow Knight.

  • Gaming @beehaw.org

Is there anything I should know before starting Hollow Knight?

  • Piracy @lemmy.ml

What's a good streaming website for anime?
