  • I want to like this game but since all planets are the same, with the same resources, what's the point of it all...

    I was hoping it would be possible to find lots of different things and trade them or build things from them, but its just the same planet over and over with different colours and random animals that don't matter.

  • I think you shouldn't buy a steam deck and instead save that money. It looks to me that there will be more and more inflation and food may start to become real expensive, specially if hormuz doesn't open up and fertilizer can't get through. Trump will never open Hormuz because it's part of the American strategy to keep it closed.

    We are in the stage where all the systems are being broken intentionally, so buying a steam deck now... Seems misguided. You may need that money for food. Or your parents may need it.

    Im still on a computer from 2017 but luckily with upgraded memory and graphics card from before this shit started, so it runs games very good.

  • Yeah and you get used to it. For me it took several weeks or months to get used to it and I was constantly thinking of it. I felt very scared it would get worse but it didn't.

    If it's not an annoying sound, its probably your fear that makes it hard to relax to. It was like that for me. The fear was worse than the sound. And then the fear goes away when the sound doesn't get worse in weeks, and then you can finally stop thinking about it.

  • I got some tinnitus too but it's luckily not audible in normal situations. I hear it in quiet rooms but it's not something that bothers me anymore.

    Hopefully yours is not super loud. It may also decrease in strength with time and it doesnt have to become worse. I've had mine for 25 years and it's still not worse.

  • Sounds like you are playing life on hard mode. Hang in there. I've had periods of life when it's been difficult but it got a lot better. Sometimes random events happen, you meet someone, and things feel better.

  • It's just awful moderation. There is a certain kind of moderator who feels that they need to take action all the time to justify their title, even when the best course of action is to do nothing.

    You need to be a calm steady person to do nothing and feel fine with it.
