First reports of Apex Legends running on Proton with EAC coming in

I'll just copy paste one of the reports:

Respawn merged their steam deck branch with their public one and EAC works now. All dependencies should install automatically. Hopefully it's here to stay, but I haven't seen any official confirmation yet.

Confirming in a Reddit thread, it's apparently officially working indeed!
