Song of the day: Alley Cat (1962) - Bent Fabricious Bjerre

Alley Cat, originally released as "Around The Piano" reached worldwide popularity, charting in both Australia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand and the US. Yet the place the tune is most well-known today is probably Mexico. Despite not charting (as far as I can tell) there originally, ice cream vendors adopted it as their tune. So these days when you hear a cat dancing around a piano, it might mean a sweet treat is around the corner.
