  • Not mad but it just show that the one asking the question is a newbie.

  • Nice

  • MediaWiki is great but Git-based wiki are more distributable and easy to back up. A trustworthy platform taking care of infrastructure is all contributers like these look for

  • Yeah, that's why Arch is almost the only distro that keeps everything installed natively. All other distros either have a troublesome workaround or only support flatpaks.

Rolling release just keeps everyone on the same pace. Yes, they break sometimes, but on the long run it just works.

  • Just use Manjaro KDE. It has "Install alongside" option during installation if you don't wanna remove Windows. Also Newbie support and gaming performance is excellent.

  • Yes. I'm all for sharing knowledge but to be honest most of piracy nowadays is porn and entertainment. So I wonder if the article argument cover them too.

  • KeePassXC has been audited.

And you're missing the point. By "trust no one", I mean trust no companies. Trust no clouds. But trust auditable Open Source.

Ofc I can trust the encryption methods and algorithms, and to a certain extent I can trust open source software like Bitwarden. But there's no need to trust something like LastPass.

  • I forgot this app still exists.. Who's using it anyways? Its interface feels like it's desperately trying to catch up with other note taking apps.
