  • If you look at the source (link on the right edge) it's a page with religious ramblings on how this disproves evolution because our nervous system is set up like a computer or microchip. Bibles quotes and all.

    The chart is a great testament to how complicated our biology is and not much else.

  • I do this with my dog, our couch is against a window that overlooks my building's courtyard so she's always watching people come and go. If I'm waiting for food or something I'll watch with her, she seems to really enjoy it.

  • I miss that about college, 24 hour library filled with people. You have to be quiet on the main floors but upstairs was less strict.

    The routine of get a coffee, study for a while, go pee and step outside with some friends for a smoke, and grab another coffee on the way in. Rinse and repeat until the sun comes up.

  • I just spent my afternoon doing volume calculations... each unit is 3 oz, I need 300 units, 900 oz, but I can only buy in 1 gallon which is 128 oz, etc. For this one, each unit is 10g and 600 of those, I can buy in 1.25 lb or 2.6 lb let's convert that and see what the cost per gram is and go with the cheaper, okay I can buy in 1180g how much do I need again?

    Repeat that 57 times and you too can have a job in supply chain.
