  • Technically yes. However, the company buildings are directly across the street, the studio behind this game used to be part of Hirez , the founder of both is the same person and ofcourse the Tribes franchise is property of Hirez. It really seems like these companies are the same entity under the hood

  • It's surprising to me that they didn't shutdown Tribes 3 Rivals as well. Can't imagine it makes them much money at this point

  • If you're not excited about Brighter shores then I really don't know, for some reason no one else has ever tried to make the same type of game (aside from Genfanad and Titanreach, both of which have shut down quickly after release)

You could check out Project: Gorgon, it's something of a mix between Runescape's multitude of slow-to-level, interconnected skills on one character and a more typical MMO with distinct classes, buildcrafting and group content. It has a free demo on Steam. All of that said it's only vaguely similar, and I wouldn't mention it if there was anything closer to OSRS.

  • The Last Sovereign (NSFW) is an 18+ RPGmaker game. The basic premise is this: What if you had a setting with a bunch of hentai tropes lumped together and played straight, with no porn logic or stupid characters?

You play as a middle aged, very competent army veteran who gains the powers of an incubus, and reluctantly uses them with the aim of making the world a better place, slowly developing a harem of well realized, cool characters along the way. There's sex scenes, obviously, but you very quickly forget all about them as you are plunged into an underdog story where you have to manage your fledgling armies + resources and have to constantly make tough decisions.

  • The video author posted this comment under the video which goes over his main claims:

"Claims I provide evidence for in this video:

    1. Many MrBeast videos are fake, contests are unfairly rigged, and contestants are often undisclosed friends and family of MrBeast employees, or employees themselves.

    2. MrBeast has run multiple illegal lotteries targeting children. (I estimate they profited over $10,000,000 from these lotteries)

    3. MrBeast knowingly sold merch with fake autographs while claiming on his website that “The autographed piece is genuine”. (fraud imo)

Also MrBeast knew about Kris being a pdf"

  • I don't get the other comments, this isn't something unusual or praiseworthy, TF2 has been getting these "updates" consisting of a new lootbox + community maps of dubious quality, consistently for years

  • Cool thanks for the answer. I'm guessing most people play the game outside of steam?

Also, a friend who used to play Regnum told me to ask: "How much ixmerin does a mount cost?"

  • What are the strong points of the game? Basically, if I'm looking for a PvP MMO, why should choose Regnum over Albion/eve/return of reckoning? Cheers

  • Very reasonable, I hope the dev sticks to his guns and keeps a manageable pace. I feel that it's right to expect content updates coming in if the game is marked early access, but so long as you don't pull a Valheim, people shouldn't be mad at you

  • I can't be angry at Peon too much for selling out, I would have done so too in his shoes. But it still sucks to see, I watched him a lot when I was searching for a permanent mmo and he always seemed to have reasonable takes

  • "A preliminary investigation indicates Kang knew the victim only online, having met him playing a fantasy video game called ArcheAge. According to the game's website, it is shutting down its North America and European servers this week because of a declining number of users. "

No wonder they don't have players left, this dude beat them all to death

  • I was always super interested in legendary equipment, so when I came back to the game after years away I just picked one weapon from the list, put it into gw2efficiency, expanded it's required materials list and looked through it until I saw something that requires me to do content which I felt comfortable doing, like map completion or open world events. From there I naturally re-familiarized myself with the game as I kept working towards the legendary.

  • I recommend getting the bundle with all the DLC, slightly more expensive but very worth it esp. for the big content expansion War of the chosen.

  • you’ve been able to fucking play it for a decade

tech demo out = game is playable, unbeatable logic

If they said they released it years ago and called these all “updates” you’d have nothing to bitch about

It's not about what the developers say the state of the game is, it's about what's actually out and playable - and for Star Citizen, last time I checked it's some barebones version with one planet, bajillion missing features, 200000000$ ships and in general a buggy mess

You star citizen fans are insufferable. I get spammed with these videos, ads and articles hyping up the game for being the best thing ever, always claiming the next update to be some gamechanger but it's still the same unfinished garbage. Love how every time someone mentions the absolutely disgusting monetisation, it goes in one ear and out the other.

Now get back to licking chris robert's shoes, you've missed a spot

  • If you want to rant about GPU prices, why randomly call out one/two specific games? Not like it doesn't apply to any other modern release. I don't get this post

Also I looked up some benchmarks and you can get 60FPS on medium with an RX 6600 (about 200 USD curently in the US) in both finals & helldivers. Could possibly get away with a cheaper card on Low settings

  • I'm on the other side of the fence here, amazed that people still bat for a company that can't deliver a product after what, 10 years past the first estimate release date?

  • The numbers this game pulled during the nextfest have me on edge... it often took me 5 minutes to find a match even when there was just one playable mode and, I assume, no skill-based matchmaking.

It's gonna release for 20 USD, which I much prefer to the free to play model but at the same time I'm really not sure the game can launch into a stable population without that influx of free players

  • You can actually find the premium currency as a loot item in some mission types
