I have probably 5 close friends but really we only ever see each other on a yearly camp trip my brother organizes, even then one or two of us doesn't go so we are hardly all together at one time.

I guess if they know that the user only connects to one server that has a plex pass then they can filter down the email, the thing that keeps me from trying to move to jellyfin yet is that most of my users use multiple servers as a lot of my friends host plex so we cross share to get more coverage

like why not just send the data the meters are sending into a black hole until after systems are up for a while so that meters dont have a backlog of data that overloads the system
That's why similar to windows you would need to be prepared beforehand, I have a thumbtick with my portable appimages so when I setup new computers I can open my notes etc without internet.
