  • #Firefox doesn't need any new features to be more attractive for users, it just needs to make CSS theming more accessible

  • For me it's anything like excalidraw or something like Google sheets. They work fine until I change tabs and come back then it's blank. But if I move the arrow keys or scroll wheel then every comes in and out of existence or stays on the screen even if I select another sheet until I close and reopen the site. But I never noticed this issue before moving to Linux so maybe it's an issue on my machine

  • I always turn everything off including my pc. I was kind of surprised the other day some of the people I talk to on discord never shut down their machines or at least put them in hibernation

  • So wasps inject you with stuff too? I always figured it was just bees since they leave their butt behind. Wasps can sting multiple so they hold on to their butt and made me assume they just stabbed you but didn't inject anything

  • No idea haha, I know on the old model it had a sensor for each finger so it went by taps but the newer one says you can do it on any surface so no clue

  • Yeah in order to get out of my contract after they restarted it without telling me then trying to charge me to get out I had to complain to the BBB and finally they retracted the charge. But it was what I learned how to edit photos on and had my whole photo library in light room so I held me back from switching to Linux before. I started trying to find an alternative before wiping my windows drive in case I wanted to edit something real quick and needed lightroom. It's good to have that buffer so you don't switch and are learning everything all at once while feeling frustrated because you just want to do one thing

  • I was in the same boat as you but I just kept using Linux more and more. I left my Adobe subscription with a bit of time left because I wanted to get better with darktable before the time ran out in case I needed Adobe but I ended up not

  • I remember our ceo would come to do our all hands meetings and he always dressed casually but you could just tell by the fit of his clothes he probably got them from somewhere with a tailor. So while the clothes looked normal the fit just stood out to me and made him look well off
