  • Definitely. Shown by all the mechanics that have somehow digressed: stealth, meaningful random encounters, better bounty systems, innovative combat (e.g., VATS), etc.

  • That’s good to know

  • Well if the law includes a clause that hedge funds need to sell of their assets, then flooding the market like that may bring down prices. However it could also trigger a bubble burst in the housing market. I’m interested to see how this is concerned

  • Exactly. Instagram doesn’t claim ownership to any of your content, but Instagram's terms of use state that the user grants Instagram a non-exclusive, fully paid, and royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use their content. Additionally, they can make money off your content without ever paying you a cut. Honestly, it’s pretty boiler plate at this point. No one should expect anything else from corporations.

  • Or the oil industry hiring economists to refute other economists conclusions when it comes to damages from oil spills (see Exxon Valdez)

  • Okay yeah, then you’re absolutely right.

  • For sure, I’m just giving them a hard time with semantics haha

  • Three gaming-focused Linux operating systems beat Windows 11 in gaming benchmarks

Arch is a gaming-focused Linux OS now lmao

  • Yup. I can’t live without it now. The only thing I had to change is to remember to open my work laptop before I leave for the day so that it syncs. About one a week I do a backup with my NAS at home

  • Luke warm take from someone who didn't even think to search the internet for 1 microsecond.

  • I would pay for YouTube Premium, like I had been when I was a student ($7.99/month), but I'm not a student anymore and they want $19 a month. Fuck no.

  • And they specifically want to see the picture of you on the back.

  • Totally agree. I also knew this was Google's modus operandi. The early versions of their software can be amazing and they slowly monetize over time.

  • Thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for. I’ve found essentially less than 1ms of latency between my mini router and my landlord’s router and I’m very happy with that.

  • This is a cry for help haha, you poor soul

  • I’ve tried several different approaches but the ISP locks the root account on the router but will change it to whatever you want if you call as the account holder.

This network is more private and secure and I don’t have to deal with my landlord. They probably wouldn’t be against it but they’re technologically illiterate and this is a better solution in my opinion.

  • Sounds good, I'll go ahead and just do this. Connect to landlord's router -> ping test -> connect to my router -> ping test. Thanks for the comment!

  • It’s been three months, I’m assuming the attack worked as intended lol
