  • I think recent Gallup and CNN polls shows about every 2 out of 3 Americans approve Trumps immigration policy and currently has a +1 favorably rating. The same polls showed his economic policies to be favored by more than 17% more than democrats. The fact republicans are stomping democrats, and democrats keep doubling down on failed ideas is astounding. Let any blue collar worker from the Midwest run the DNC and we would win every election in a landslide, but instead we insult men and push identity politics that even minorities don’t want.

  • This was my understanding, too. Dude created his own hardware and software and then hand rolled an AI so he had more time to spend saving the world instead of hunched over a laptop. Anything he tells his own AI to do would probably be trivial to him to write himself but would take us months.

  • Are you actually trying to claim life hasn’t improved for the average El Salvadoran? I work with some and they are no longer scared to go visit family. Even with the new trump rules they have had no issue getting back into the country (they are US citizens though)

    Are we talking about the same country? The one that had the highest murder rate in the world a couple years ago and now has some of the lowest? The one where people were scared to go out during the day because of gang violence, but now you can walk safely alone at night? The one where every official was bought off by gangs, but now is prosecuting those officials and gang members? The one where its citizens overwhelmingly support the actions taken to get their lives and safety back?

    If you are picking your battles, this is certainly not one to choose.
