  • Trump gave a speech about it, so he was involved in a way that made oil industry investors trust that he would honor his side of the deal.

  • He was able to competently negotiate a bribe from the oil industry in exchange for suppressing any attempt to stop burning fossil fuels.

    The press does a lot of sanewashing though.

    It's the same as when the US Vice President makes false accusations about immigrants in the US. Recognize it when it happens, and don't do it yourself.

  • Blaming the residents of any country for starting a fire is hate speech when there is no evidence for that is, yes. Classic form of it.

  • I think they need to get the state government where he is located to agree to extradite him. Used to be completely routine except for accusations of being a doctor who provided medical care to women
