I'm a slow driver, at or slightly below the speed limit. My tips for not pissing people off:
Use your cruise control/maintain speed. People can get used to whatever speed you're at, but if you keep changing your speed, they'll keep accelerating into it and slamming on the brakes.
When the road opens up nice and straight with clear visibility, for fucks sake, DO NOT SPEED UP (see: 1), even though it feels natural to do so. There's a line of cars behind you that have been waiting for the dotted yellow line to pass you--and where you feel like it's safe to go faster is usually where they put those dotted lines.
It's a process. Eventually, you'll figure out what you like and you'll have a reliably stocked pantry to whip up a meal you'll enjoy on short notice.
Right now, I'm going pretty basic: rice + beans + veg + cheese + olive oil + spice--most. everything made ahead of time, before I get hungry.
