Running, bee keeping, building outdoor kitchen, rebuilding my network and servers, smoking ribs and shotgunshells, swimming, playing records and tapes, quad maintenance, tree felling, wood splitting & stacking, and during lunch (burger from the grill) i'll think of something for the afternoon. But, the day ends with sauna for sure.

    (Otherwise uptimekuma or something, there are plenty of tools out there. If you wanna do it right 1st time for free : checkmk and or librenms, but it might be overkill for you just yet)

  • Basically this. You could start easy and basic with gatus. Monitor at least your gateway, the isp gateway and dns resolving.

  • Yeah, probably would explode. Only way might be to set it in motion from the green one and take it overt on the red one once the cogs picked up some speed. But most probably they will melt before that, the speed will be much to high.

    Never looked it up but Given the scale it's happening, I say yes, it's legal. It's even quite common in stores to see only one register accepting cash & card while all others only take cards.

    That's about the fast pace life not about living outside a city. I know many don't understand how we can live here, and that's fine. As you said: to each their own.

    But .... Slow down. Enjoy the moment. The fast pace, the ratrace .... It doesn't bring anyone any good

  • 100% true. The fast pace is of no good to anyone. I moved to the countryside after a cerebal bleeding caused me much troubles with all impulses one gets throughout the day. I can't even begin to describe the difference it has made in litteraly every aspect of my life. There is always tomorrow. (If not, you won't be there to notice it)
