I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA and I occasionally make things and post stuff online. Blogging since 1997 and can't seem to stop. Please enjoy these wonderful links to other places:

  • One of our cats (as a kitten) chewed the fur off the tip of her tail! Luckily she grew out of it quickly.

  • TBF he’d probably lose a few supporters if he gunned down someone. Just a few though.

  • I quit Google. No longer use them for search, email, drive, or docs. They infested everything with AI and they bend the knee to fascists. I’m done.

  • I’ll disable it like I do with AI.

  • I assume I’ll be dead by then so I tend not to think that far ahead.

  • I tend to do only when needed as it conflicts with some of the things I need to access locally on my network.

  • I'm all for activism!

  • I liked AnyType but really missed having a browser-based application. I also had a hard time exporting my data out of AnyType.

  • I like NocoDB though the self-hosted version isn't as complete as their hosted version. For my needs though it works quite well.

  • I did some math and the ones I printed probably came out cheaper than the online listing for 100 that a friend pointed me to.

  • I just printed a few hundred and donated them to a local organization in town. A friend of mine is working with them and I asked if they wanted whistles and they were happy to get them.

  • Yes. Mine has worked amazingly well.

  • I was new to doing reverse proxy stuff but Nginx Proxy Manager made it really easy. A bit of doc reading, I probably watched a video or two, and it all made sense. Great clean UI and easy to install. (I run it on a Raspberry Pi.)

  • [Note: I have not read the books... no spoilers from the books please!]

I was pleased with the season and the finale. I know some people complained about the pacing but I don't mind a slower paced show.

I have to assume Bernard will survive because his character is so damn good. I'd have to lose him, but I also wonder what his role will be moving forward.

Now, the scene at the very end which shows the before times... I assume the congressman and the woman eventually get together and are part of the pilot program for the silos. The whole "do they still call it a date" thing? I think at that point in time people are trying to find matches/mates so they can apply to the Silo program.

Supposedly they are already filming seasons 3 and 4 so I'm looking forward to answers eventually. (I would consider the books - are there audiobooks? - once I finish the series.)

  • I hope they work... I've had so many issues with the current system.

  • I've never had an issue, but I've been careful with placement and handling.

  • Great use of 3D printing!

  • fedia.io: Is it possible at all to restore accidentally delete history entries on Mac?
