  • Grimbeard, puts out well researched and highly entertaining game retrospectives.

    BobbyFingers creates dioramas of famous events with insane tangents while documenting their creation. One video even has a choreographed song.

    Lawerence systems covers a lot of self hosted tech with articulate and concise instructions. Really like his method of teaching.

    GreenX has some amazing retrospective videos about games, they’re a bit newer of a channel. Every upload has been fantastic though. Insanely funny, highly recommend watching their STALKER video.

    Facefullofeyes, same as above but has a very inconsistent upload schedule. Much less humor than greenx but very insightful analysis. Highly recommend the SWAT 4 video.

  • It'll be awhile. They've been in a development state since the launch of the original pinephone in 2020. And even the pinephone is going to be unavailable in two years as pine64 is ceasing sales on it. Not trying to crap on devs. I bought two pinephones (Braveheart & Mobian bundle). Tested multiple distros and excitedly followed their progress for years. I never had a reliable working phone in that four year span. IMO SailfishOS and Post Market OS are the two most usable mobile distros. SailfishOS now requires an ongoing subscription to use which I don't like.

  • I legit almost had that dream. Used to live on the KY/TN border. Had 50 acres, half mile off the road and no neighbors. Right as I determined I was moving the local power company started their own fiber ISP. Brought fiber right up to the house.
