  • This would have been around 2010.

  • Mountain Dew Distortion. It was one of the ones you could vote on. It was basically the same recipe but with lime being the dominant flavor over lemon. A mild change, but I much preferred it over the original.

  • Second guy should have longer thoughts. His legs are getting wet.

  • Closest I ever got was seeing opening night of Tron: Legacy. I went two weeks in advance to pick up midnight showing tickets and they had already been sold out.

    I’m not much for FOMO

  • This, but unironically. Mistakes are what make us aware of our faults, and give us the opportunity to be better.

  • I went to a Meow Wolf exhibit for the first time, which is probably one of the best exercises in set design I’ve ever seen executed.

  • I honestly love it because at the end of the day, as bad as the pun is, the story has some decent merit and complexity that makes it almost stand without the joke.

  • I already got mine. A copy of Infected Mushroom’s only vinyl release I’m aware of, Classical Mushroom. Usually goes for $150+ and found one for like $75 one time.

  • Have we even found a single link between habits/conditions of pregnancy and ADHD/autism yet? I feel like every time I hear these stories, it’s a repeat of the last study’s findings.

  • Not a traditional “boss fight”, but Tropical Drive Westbound on Burnout 3 has a time trial that requires you to go full speed in an F1 car for 4 minutes without crashing to beat the time. Absolutely one of the toughest events I’ve come across in an arcade racing game.

  • I have one of the cheapest you can buy, a Relic. It’s been working great for me for over 10 years now.

  • My other favorite response is just ‘Ew.’

  • I’m definitely in the second category for all my art in general. Minimal, decisive, meaningful.

  • The moron does not require a data center to give me wrong information.

  • See:

    without any life experience

I’d rather ask a moron with a corporeal being than someone who thinks they know everything but has never lived.

  • The difference being is that you’re far less likely to be asked what someone should do to manage their coffee shop. Imagine a coffee shop manager asked you what they should do to improve their business.

People got it in their heads that AI is an expert in these fields, but at best, I’d guess it has high school + a couple years of Gen Ed college courses but without any of the applicable life experience. I wouldn’t ask that person a damn thing about a specialty and I certainly wouldn’t hire them to own or manage a business out the gate.

  • I do occasionally for effect, but not normally.

  • And with any number of them falling out of the sky in a few more years, maybe those two numbers will meet in short time.

  • Can't you just disable sleep on close?

Most modern laptops have their air intake in the keyboard, which would cause them to overheat on a matter of minutes.

Edit: I may have been confidently incorrect here. I know I’ve seen this done before, but I guess it’s not common like I thought
