not actually dead

  • Oh fuck, this will be my first since getting my Deck. RIP my wallet. Already planning on getting the Dead Space remake in a few days in Xbox while it's on sale, so hopefully I can get something good for cheap on Steam!

  • Off the top of my head, just Shining.

  • Thanks for all you do! I'm excited for the upgrades.

  • Exactly, that was so annoying. Or bots coming to correct grammar, or make haikus. They're fun at first and then they're just spam.

  • I think some bots are good. I could personally go without seeing the bots that reply to comments when something specific is said, but many subs had helpful bots in them.

  • Agreed on both of these. I made four within my first day or so, with three being pretty niche to very niche, and one with the potential to get large if Lemmy continues to grow. After I made that, I called it quits; I made new homes for my favorite Reddit communities and I know that's all I can likely handle if they take off.

  • Good approach, but I'm personally not deleting anything. I've made some helpful posts and comments that I want to show up in searches in the future. If I didn't have those, I'd totally take the same approach, but I'm all for archiving everything on the internet, and I'm not gonna let some doofus of a man change that.

  • Same! This was my first brand new, pre-ordered phone. Got it day one and I love it. I've only had two issues: rarely, the volume buttons stop working only for the volume adjustment; I can still screenshot with them. Second, the haptic feedback for the keyboard will randomly stop working; again, other haptic sources still work. Both just require a quick restart, which I should be doing more often anyway. Besides those tiny and weird bugs, it's been perfect.

  • Same! I'm loving it. I still hope Reddit can fix things, but I'm a permanent user here already. It's just so fun, and it being smaller is a big pro for me. Already got my best friend, who I met on Reddit four years ago, to join!

  • Mine isn't empty, but it's very different from normal. Still lots of stuff with lots of upvotes, but it's just so off. If I didn't know about the blackout stuff, I would've noticed something was up still.

  • I love the look of the Type-7. I can't wait for Starfield where I can make my own blocky, bulky cargo ship like that.

  • It's Oryx, an old villain from the game Destiny. Give god, the Taken King. Cool dude. I also love seeing people around here, and especially the more simple names. Figured I'd snag a cool, short one from my favorite community in case Lemmy really takes off!

  • I'm so extremely excited for this game. I love everything they showed, but the ship building especially looks fun. As a huge Elite Dangerous fan, lots of this looks absolutely amazing.

  • Well that's another certified fat L for Reddit.

  • I joined Reddit in 2015 after some Destiny creators mentioned it somewhere as an alternative to the Bungie forums. Been a daily user ever since. I joined in Windows Phone, which only had third party apps, so I've literally never used the official app. When I switched to Android in 2017 I believe it was, I downloaded Sync because it was most similar to the app I used before (I can't remember what app it was on Windows).

    And now I'm here.

  • I've made four so far! Creating them is easy; growing them is the hard part.

  • Better Call Saul as well!

  • Seeing downvotes as soon as there's at least one is so cool to me. Very small detail, but it makes a pretty big impact.

Edit: I appreciate the downvote to display this awesome feature 👍
