Shining. Specifically, the album Halmstad. Specifically, the first and last songs (the last is one of my favorite songs ever). A brutally heavy album about depression and suicide. Their whole thing (specifically their vocalist, Niklas Kvarforth) is trying to get people to harm themselves and commit suicide. Part gimmick, part truth.
Listen to Halmstad late at night when you're feeling down on life and it's just an insane experience.
Stop by !dsbm@lemmy.world if you want some more - I have a post with some starting bands.
Some other favorites of the genre are Make a Change... Kill Yourself (my favorite), Leviathan, and Xasthur.
Umm, this is a repost from four and a half years ago that I've seen countless times. Please stop stealing content and degrading the integrity of the subreddit. I've reported your stolen repost.
You just never quit, do you? Took out Ghaul. Woke up the traveler. And now half of what i hear in the streets is how much you and your clan are making a difference. And that's why i started this whole clan thing in the first place. People are still waiting for the Vanguard to lead the way. But it's time for a change. And guardians like you are making it happen. No pressure.
This right here. For a while after moving to Lemmy, people were using voting like this. Now it's back to downvotes everywhere on things people disagree on.
I really should pay for premium, it's just that the free version does exactly what I wanted from it so I've never felt like I had to. But at this point I just want to support it!
Bit of a different answer, but I enjoy Daylio. Very simple and easy to track your mood and activities to look back on. Not really super useful, but very interesting and fun!
If he's actually able to go through with one of these loan forgiveness plans without the GOP fucking it up again, he'll be one of the greatest presidents in my book. Things need to change for students so badly, and anyone that's opposed is a fucking asshole as far as I'm concerned.
What happened to them being so desperate to make money that they'd charge third party all devs $20 million a year for API access? Surely removing ways to give them money won't help that situation, right?
I know the API thing was all about control and not the actual money, but they're just being so blatant about not giving a fuck about the site or the users. What a dreadful company.
Well that's only because McDonald's doesn't serve burrito bowls
