  • Aw shucks

  • I was never a mod at Reddit. But I’m a mod here for a few communities. I try to be as “hands off” as possible, and step in only when needed. It’s been 7 or 8 months as a mod, and I have not yet banned anyone…

  • The Jets need much more help. But it’s a start.

  • The Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars crossover we’ve all been waiting for.

  • 3 years or so for me. That seems to be when my current phone starts to slow a bit, and when the newer phones have a new feature or two worth paying money for.

  • Username checks out.

  • I’d probably agree with you on this one.

  • Busy weekend doing stuff with the kids, but hopefully creating some good “core” memories. Off to a week of work while I try to figure out a way to get my exercise schedule back on track.

  • It almost seems like the only apps (other than purely web-based ones) that are still being developed for iOS are Arctic, Mlem, Thunder, and Voyager.

Edit: And Lemma had a pretty big update recently, too. I should include them as well.

  • That’s fair. People IRL call me Rob.

  • I just want to make sure I understand, you mean what can you call me? I’m happy to provide my real first name. That’s probably simplest.

If you mean how can you contact me, I respond quickly to messages and mentions. But can also give my email or join a preferred chat group.

And as for nationality, I’m based in the US, on the east coast.

  • Sounds good. And no hard feelings if you decide to go in another direction!

  • Yeah, I agree that “blur” makes more sense than “hide.” As for the feed not loading, not sure why that is.

  • Found spez’s Lemmy account.

  • I use Thunder, and NSFW posts are blurred for me. Just FYI.

  • I am a Jets fan, and even I hate the Jets.

  • This is the answer for me too. I don’t really use the salt shaker at restaurants. But, more often than not, we cook our own food at the house and use salt as necessary.
