  • Wow, we’re over 12k already

  • From any of the big instances, the ‘all’ tab already does that, or am I missing something?

If you’re looking for a go-to site then join-lemmy.org has links and everything.

  • It’s funny that it works normally on Apollo for me 😎

  • This is also only for Debian AFAIK

  • Hi, Bojack

  • They don’t even have to be on Lemmy. Other platforms in the Fediverse (like Kbin) are compatible with us.

  • Maybe I’m wrong, but you would be fetching the content from all the other instances. The other instances would only need to fetch your content if someone searches for the communities you created. So, if you mostly post and comment on existing communities, the other instances wouldn’t have to do any extra work.

  • It’s like r/The_Donald but on the opposite end of the political spectrum

  • To be fair, I was hesitant about posting it here, but there aren’t many niche meme communities yet.

  • Basically all markdown formatting is valid. See here.

  • Semi-random: I was happy to see so many Flatpak being released for arm64 too (as I'm on "Apple Silicon", working great by the way)

Tip for others with ARM: the Fedora official download page only lists Kinoite 38 for arm and Siilverblue 37 and no Sway, BUT they all work perfectly fine if you rebase with rpm-ostree after installing Kinoite. The power of image-based updates!

  • I've just finally caved in and visited lemmygrad for the first time and oh, boy! I've heard the sound of my grey matter atrophy

  • The best instance 😎

(no instance wars please, I'm being facetious)

  • No, you just need to subscribe to !montreal@lemmy.ca. "Unfortunately" they share the same name, but they are different communities.

Just search for !montreal@lemmy.ca on the search bar of your instance (lemmy.ml) and you're good to go!

  • I currently only use Linux in a VM, but Fedora Kinoite! Immutable distros need more love

  • and that's a feature haha

  • What about The Internet Archive? Search engines cache? Copies made by other people? etc.

This is a public platform; don't share things you don't want to be shared. You can't truly expect anything being deleted forever everywhere.

  • The community here is much better IMHO

Much less toxic (I'm not talking about lemmygrad)
