Possible I'll pick it back up if there's a worthwhile game on it. But it would take multiple releases to convince me, and I'm more likely to cancel again right after.
If I was walking through the woods and saw a bike standing against a tree I'd think, "Hey, that's someone's bike."
If I was walking through the woods and stumbled across a bike on the ground under a bunch of leaves, I'd think, "Hey, someone must have abandoned this bike. Free bike!"
I said they didn't need to take a TARP loan. They did take it.
It was explained to me that this was because the government requested for them to take it, because it would help legitimize the program if all the banks took it.
But it wasn't free money. It was a loan that was paid back with interest. As much as I hate and disagree with the concept of "too big to fail", the US government made a huge profit on the TARP program.
No way. A strong response against COVID would have been an easy win.
Remember at the beginning of COVID, when Trump was asked "What do you say to Americans who are scared?" A softball question so soft that it would melt in a cup of hot chocolate. Literally any president ever would have a historic soundbite as an answer. George W. Bush would have sounded like the most presidential motherfucker you've ever heard.
Trump said: "I say you're a terrible reporter."
So I think Trump's response to COVID was uniquely disastrous to him on every level. The fact that anyone ever took him seriously will continue to be a national and historical embarrassment.
It's almost more of a system than a game, like you can play many games within it.
I used to just jump into a survival world and start exploring. Now I've got a persistent world I've had for like eight years. Sometimes I'm still discovering new areas, but other times I'm rediscovering stuff that I (or my friend who plays in the same world) built long ago. Occasionally I'll take on some huge impressive project. The rail system in my world is built out to an unreasonable level.
Whenever I uncensor something, I like to add thematically appropriate emphasis to the curse word. A glowing "fuck" on a Fallout post, a Star Trek font "shit" in a Star Trek post, a big veiny "cock" for a post about cocks. I take pride in my work.
I worked in finance for 14 years. If you think that AI is going to markedly decrease the accuracy of the Excel spreadsheets underpinning our financial system, then you've never seen those spreadsheets.
I once saw a formula that ended in "+15". Because that's what it took to get it to balance. It was like that for years.
And honestly I worked at one of the better banks, one of the ones that didn't actually need to take the TARP loans.
You're just trolling? Or your reading comprehension needs a lot of work? Or maybe you're some kind of paranoid, living the loneliest life, because all you see are bootlickers everywhere. I genuinely don't know which one it is.
Best Buy is great. They have this thing called a "store", which I guess is what they use to store all the products? Anyway, you can just drive there and they ship the product directly into your hands! It's crazy. I hope it catches on.
I actually talked to all of the players, and they all agreed with the reviewers. They said NV is actually a little overrated. 🤷
