  • Makes sense, the people who have both the tech knowledge and conviction on the advantages of selfhosting, were probably the most active posters.

  • Evidence?

You presented nothing besides pointing to the North Korean constitution and believing what is written there. You also believe that the D in DPRK actually means they are democratic, and that somehow power passing from father to son without any election is normal and acceptable. Except if countries without a communist aesthetic do it, then it's a monarchy.

Just admit it, you are an American Gen Z LARPing as a revolutionary. It's easy to talk when you never had to live in a 3rd world country under an authoritarian ruler.

  • How does it work? Is this similar to Briar?

  • I use shh keys for all my remote machines, set passwords automatically with ansible, and store them with pass.

    https://www.passwordstore.org/

    EDIT:

Just to clarify, ansible can use pass as a password store, so in the ansible playbooks you can write which password you want to retrieve from pass.

You can also call pass from any shell script by writing $(pass

    <target_password>

    )

  • Mature enough not to fall for North Korean propaganda.

Enjoy your time outside of lemmygrad posting ignorant takes from the comfort of your home in the US.

  • Awww what happened? Did you get out of lemmygrad and realise that people can hurt your feefees on the internet when you support regimes that send people to labour camps? :'(

They may even call you a bad word?! How will you ever be able to deal with that? I bet your life in the US is so hard.

  • SearXNG is great.

I think the features I'm missing are easily adding more engines (haven't looked much into it), and automatically blacklisting domains from coming up in searches.

  • downplay the great food that has been done for the people

If anything was ever done for the North Koreans, it certainly wasn't food.

  • You are a certified full blown retard, I'm wasting my time arguing with your single neuron.

  • You're literally listing powerful American families and comparing them with a country with an enforced direct lineage from father to son. In case you're not aware, this is called monarchy.

Tell me: was Biden Obama's son, and Obama Bush's son?

The American political system might be highly flawed, but at least they are not sending the family of the ones who dare to leave to prison camps.

And if you say that North Korea does not do that, then you have fallen for North Korean propaganda.

  • Now you have to be a conservative to dislike the North Korean regime? Even several radical leftist groups dislike the it (e.g. anarchists).

Have you ever spoken with anyone that's not a tankie?

  • What part of "I'm not American" didn't you understand?

  • Again: not American, that's not a burn mate.

You're also comparing a country with a flawed democracy with a country with no democracy at all.

You're either a retard, a troll, or the dear leader is making you work really hard for those food rations.

  • So the current guy in charge was not elected in a free election, and is the son of the last guy. And the last guy was the same thing... 🤔

Tell me again what system is this?

  • Oh, so you actually believe that elections are free in Korea?

    Please tell me more.

Do you also believe that power does not corrupt, and that Santa is real?

  • One good thing about Reddit is that one could add a "site:reddit.com" at the end of each Google search to improve the results.

This won't work as well with Lemmy (since it's all a bunch of different domains). Hope that in the future a feature like this is implemented to search across the fediverse

  • +1 for miniflux, has all the features and it's really light.

I didn't know about news, might give it a look. I've been using Microflux on Android.

  • Linux

  • Is the Lemmy high just as good? Or is it the Reddit methadone?
