I think people understand this (or at least I hope they do otherwise lol we're fucked as a country). But they also see stories of Farage or multiple Tories getting away with far worse. So there seems to be an agreement that breaking the law is ok but it depends on the scale as to whether people will take offence over it. At least that's my reading. I'm probably wrong 😜.
