  • as an AUR enjoyer btw I lament PPAs and the burdens they come with

  • probably worth a try. I have gotten dms from bots recently that I can't mark as read or dismiss in this app

  • gimp 3 and proper hdr in the same year. never would have guessed it would be so contemporaneous

  • genuinely my only problem with it is the license. I really hate how much stuff is mit or apache now. I've seen some really nice projects get taken over and privatized in the last few years and nobody has learned

  • dumb dolphin thing I forget every couple years, F12 toggles thumbnails on and off

  • Lightning flashes, sparks shower, in one blink of your eyes you've mis-seen.

  • unfortunately 10.2 removed wine 64 loader name too, so anything hard coded to look for it like eac broke

  • it's still up to individual apps to implement the portal I think

  • when it comes down to it, all these parties either ship something broken as fuck or insecure, and end users have to deal with it either way

  • ahh its been so long since I used regular Debian in school I thought it had ppa since raspbian does

  • i wouldn't wish apt on my enemies. terrible habits with all the ppas and piping curl to bash in every forum post

  • it sucks, I guarantee if we scratch the surface of any package's community you'll find no shortage of libertarian bigoted weirdos. don't know what to do with the information on that scale

  • matrix doesn't stand a chance, none of the discord features are there, and the protocol MRs are years old and dead or bike shedded to hell. wish it wasn't so

  • I hopped more for different desktop experiences than distro. now I've settled into arch for the last 12+ years

  • my experience was with sddm

  • of course I could have RTFM'd but it's really weird that it doesn't set DRM itself. so if you think you'll get any kind of sensible default on first boot ... well. nope you get nothing not even TTYs to fix it

  • thank you! I had no idea

  • rip stadia and all those Linux ports
