  • Could Dems in TX or other red/purple states join in the lawsuit as a class against all gerrymandering at the same time? So it either all stays or all goes? Otherwise they will rule it not ok in one state but just fine in another.

  • There are plenty of things that are better in the world, political or not. Child mortality is down, maternal mortality is down, life expectancy is up, hunger worldwide is down, crime is down, various diseases are on the cusp of being eradicated. A lot of these are progress in non "Western" countries that don't really get covered much in western media since Good News doesn't hit the first page with all the horror happening locally.

  • I think it is largely a demographics thing. Final Fantasy probably has a lot more overlap with Magic in terms of fan base than Spider Man does. We'll see about stuff like Avatar and TMNT, but I'd hazard a guess that Marvel next year will perform similarly to Spider Man.

  • It would certainly be false propaganda. The internet is already being flooded with it, just all generated by one side and it seems people aren't particularly getting better at recognizing it as such, unfortunately.

  • V Rising was fun, I played through on a public PvE server mostly solo. The progression felt really good and dialed in, strong loop. Would have loved to have a solid group for boss progression, but didn't have friends interested.
