Queer dude (he/him) with an interest in tech (especially Linux and other FOSS software), gaming, and expanding my taste in music.

Currently studying social work, with an interest in helping disadvantaged/homeless youth and the Inuit and First Nations peoples of Turtle Island.

  • This is really nice to see, glad he's taking a vocal stance as opposed to ignoring everything.

  • There is a selfhosted instance on lemmy.ml :)

  • What's the source on that? That's a pretty big accusation but I'd certainly want to know if it's true.

  • How do you secure your lemmy instance on your home network? I'm interested in doing it but I'm unsure if a reverse proxy would be good enough security. My other public facing services run behind traefik and authelia, but I figure you wouldn't want lemmy behind any auth for ease of use.
