  • Machi Koro is super simple to travel with. Just rubber band the cards and throw the dice and money tokens in a bag and there you go.

    Jaipur is similar that way.

    Anything by Oink Games.

  • I did back the Kickstarter and we just got access to the files the other day. (Pretty quickly after the close) It's a print and play game so when it's available it should just be the files. I'm not certain when it will be available to everyone but I wouldn't think it should be too long. I also know they're planning on adding more maps in the future for folks that backed/buy it. Sorry I don't have more specific info.

  • If you have the digital version it offers a few different ways to play solo. Gives you different things to work towards/try out etc.

  • Yeah. No actual hiking. We just have a trip coming up and this is compact enough that it would be fun to take along. Sorry for the confusion. 🙂

  • You're going on a series of four "hikes". You roll to determine how many grid/elevation lines you can cross in a turn. You have to end your turn on a waypoint. If you can't, you can rest and earn a water bottle which will let you add one additional line cross in a later turn. The different spots enable scoring/abilities. So by the end you've wandered over the map and hopefully accrued some points.

  • Sahara is a truly fun time. Romancing the Stone and The Lost City are also good.

  • I am sad I had to look this far for spaced. Spaced is great!

  • A double double animal style is a good fast food burger. And hits the spot when you're in the mood. But those fries. Getting them animal style mostly redeems them but barely.

  • They do. And the In'n'Out people are not to be trusted (when it comes to fries)
